In Forgotten Riddles: The Mayan Princess you’ll be representing a Chief Archaeologist who receives the following letter in the beginning of the game.

“It is written in the history book of Mayan civilization that the mysterious demise of the royal family occurred during 1536, a decade after the Spaniards conquered the Yucatan. However in one of our recent archaeological dig sites, we have uncovered artifacts left by a Mayan princess in 1556, twenty years after the supposed tragedy. Among the artifacts are these peculiar runes which have riddles etched on them. I’ve included them and a map in your possession. Your mission is to decrypt the runes and to uncover the real history of the royal family. Good luck on your journey!”
Beyond the story, the game could be categorized into the “seek & find” category. Even when there are lots of games categorized in this category, this game is pretty different from others. The big difference is based on how it is organized. You basically must find hidden objects in messy scenes, but instead of providing you with a list of objects to locate, the game shows riddles. Starting from the riddle you have to guess what object you are looking for and then locate it in the scene. At the end of each scene you must solve a puzzle in order to unlock the next scene.
If you get stuck at any moment you have some hints available to help you to locate the hidden items.
When you first enter the game, you’ll be asked for a player name and then you’ll get to the main menu with the following options on it:
